Pham, Minh Duc got her Doctor of Pharmacy from The
University of Texas at Austin in 2001.  She is
currently a pharmacy manager at Walgreens where
she puts her expertise to use in helping educate and
counsel patients about their health conditions and
medication use.  She finds the daily face-to-face
patient interactions rewarding.

Fluent in both English and Vietnamese, while in college Dr. Pham
taught ESL to newcomers and has helped many older Vietnamese
become US Citizens.  Her academic excellence and devotion to
community services have earned her multiple awards and honors.  
Most noticeable are a Research Apprenticeship from the National
Institutes of Health and Outstanding Youth for Tomorrow of the
Southwest Texas Region.

An avid book lover, Dr. Pham enjoys reading books on various topics.
Among them, history and philosophy remain her favorite subjects.  
She also enjoys traveling, playing classical guitar, practicing yoga,
mastering the art of tea drinking and learning new languages in her
spare time.
